Whilst many of the residents of Jesmond have heard of La Sagesse School, how many really know it?  Once a girls' school, we now admit boys to our Junior Department and in 2007 the Senior Department will admit boys into Year 7.  As a non-selective school the range of ability is wide but this does not prevent us from achieving exceptional examination result (always above 97% pass rate at GCSE and rarely below 100% at A level).  Of course, the range of activities beyond the classroom is tremendous and there's something to suit everyone.

We try very hard to be an active part of the local community and to that end our facilities are used by a wide range of people outside normal school hours.  In fact, residents who are very local to us have held barbecues here.
